Nursery is complete!

So sorry for the lack of updates - I have been super busy with work and trying to get everything ready for maternity leave.  Since this was the last weekend before Christmas - we finished everything up with the nursery and are trying to get as organized as possible before the little man comes.  Also - by the end of the week I will FINALLY have pictures of my mom's living room.  She chose a beautiful Benjamin Moore paint and all the painting was finished this past weekend as well.

Take a look at the nursery - the pictures are terrible, but hopefully I'll be able to get some better ones once I figure out how to work our camera better.

With this being a short week with work I will be sure to update on my recent house projects as well as my mom's living room.

Have a great Monday!!!

Nursery Update

Sorry for the lack of updates - I've been super busy.   My best friends from NJ flew in this past weekend for my baby shower and we had a great time.  We have all been friends for years so it was so special being able to spend time with everyone.   First - the baby shower was amazing thanks to all my hosts!  The whole weekend made me realize how incredibly lucky and blessed I am to have such wonderful friends and family in my life.  So thank you to everyone - it was such a great time.

That's another reason I decorated the whole house last weekend - I wanted to make sure we were the perfect hosts for my friends with plenty of Holiday cheer to go around :-)

So to the originally post - the nursery is well on it's way to being completed.  The curtains arrived on Friday and I couldn't be happier with them.  They look incredible, I decided on a pencil pleat at the top with a greek key trim on the sides.  The curtains match the bed skirt - I'll get better pictures up this week. Take a look:

Also - look at this amazing gift that one of my girlfriends gave us this past weekend.  She and her hubby made it!!!!!  They are both incredibly creative and it matches the theme beautifully.   It's a baseball taken apart.
